Who processes your data

The operator of this site and the controller of your personal data is me, Tomáš Rapi. If you have a question about data processing, write to kontakt@tomasrapi.com.

What data I collect and where it comes from

Directly from you, via the contact form: name, company, email and the text of your message.

Automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited. This data is generated in the hosting provider’s technical logs and, only if you consent, in Google Analytics.

Your cookie choice, stored in your browser.

What I use the data for and on what basis

• Replying to your message and further communication: performing what you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or my legitimate interest in responding (point f).
• Running and securing the site: legitimate interest (point f).
• Storing your cookie choice: legal obligation and legitimate interest (points c and f).
• Measuring traffic with Google Analytics: solely your consent (point a), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings in the footer.

Who I share the data with

• Netlify, Inc. (USA): site hosting and processing of submitted forms.
• Google Ireland Limited: Google Analytics, only after your consent.

Both providers may process data outside the EU. In that case I rely on the EU standard contractual clauses and the provider’s data processing agreement. I do not sell your data or pass it to anyone else.

How long I keep the data

Contact form messages for 24 months from the last communication, then I delete them. Hosting logs are kept according to the provider’s settings, usually up to 30 days. Google Analytics data for at most 14 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time. Just write to kontakt@tomasrapi.com.

Complaints

If you believe I process your data unlawfully, you can contact the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, dataprotection.gov.sk.

Contact form

By sending the form you let me know you want me to get back to you. I will not use your data for marketing or newsletters and I do not pass it to any third party other than the hosting provider. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.

Changes

I will update this text if I change the tools or the way I work with data. The current version is always on this page.
